A hinge, also known as a hinge, is a mechanical device used to connect two solids and allow them to rotate relative to each other. Hinges can be divided into two categories: open hinges and dark hinges according to their functions.

01 Exposed hinge : visible to the naked eye after installation

Advantages: easy to disassemble, strong bearing capacity, not easy to deform and crack, cabinet door is not easy to sag, large opening angle, 180 degrees.

Disadvantages: The vandal resistance is worse than that of the dark hinge, and it is not as beautiful as the dark hinge.

Typical applications: HVAC systems and industrial generators, server cabinets.

02 Concealed hinge: Hidden behind the door panel after installation, visually invisible

Advantages: the dark hinge is visually invisible, the aesthetics are higher, the damage resistance is good, and it needs to be disassembled from the inside of the door panel when installing and dismantling.

Disadvantages: the opening angle is limited, a few have 180 degrees, generally 90 degrees, and the bearing capacity is not as good as the open hinge.

Typical applications: metal cabinets, covers, outer boxes, mechanical covers.
